Edek Choros, Executive Director
  • Geologist of 30 years with expertise in coal exploration, mine design, mine planning and management of “turnaround” operations in Australia and USA
  • Australian Future Energy founder (2014) and director
  • Founded successful hard coking coal mine Millenium Coal Pty Ltd (1999) in Bowen basin, Qld, sold to Excel Coal Ltd (2004).
Mick Spencer, Executive Director
  • 30 years in the resources sector, including executive roles with BHP and Wesfarmers, including 20+ years’ experience in operations management, business development, feasibility studies, project management and corporate strategy development
  • Mining engineer with expertise in operations management, business development, feasibility studies, project management and corporate strategy development. Technical due diligence and stakeholder relations are among his key areas of expertise
  • Secured multiple major mine and port development investment and regulatory approvals.
Staffan Ever, Non-Executive Chairman
  • Staffan Ever has over 25 years of experience in the mining industry, specializing in the development, financing, and management of global mining projects.
  • Co-founder  and Executive chairman of Square Resources Group, a private trading and investment firm focused on mineral commodities. 
  • Previous roles include:
    • General Manager and Board member of all AMCI Australia entities.
    • Founder & Managing Partner of the US$65 million Triangle Fund, investing in early stage mineral resource projects across the US, South Africa, South America, and Australia
  • Mr. Ever holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and an MBA, bringing a strong blend of technical and strategic expertise to his leadership roles
John Kochanski, Chief Marketing Officer
  • An award-winning marketing professional with over 35 years’ experience working in the United States, Europe, UK, Japan, the Middle East & Africa
  • Owner and serves as Chairman of Prodigy+ and 3P Studios, now entering their 20th & 10th years, both of which are active globally, specialising in providing marketing support to leading listed and un-listed corporations, GOC’s and Government Authorities
  • His passion lies in using marketing early in an entity’s development, enabling emerging companies and technologies to communicate to and enter their market sectors, assisting with adequate capital provision whether by listing, private equity, debt, or combination most efficiently.
